Why to select and recycle the plastic
Plastic is everywhere today. As a material, the plastic has many advantages. However, a special care shall be brought to the plastic waste. Recycling the plastic is the best solution for the plastic waste.
- Rather than taking up all the space in landfills, plastic water bottles can have a second life as a completely new product;
- Plastic does not break down easily, actually it takes hundreds of years to degrade;
- Five recycled plastic items can make enough fiberfill to stuff a ski jacket;
- Recycling saves energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions;
- You can reuse plastic water bottles by refilling water in it;
- Plastic butter tubs can be reused to store food in the refrigerator;
- Plastic is lighter than metal and glass so it takes less fuel to ship;
- Recycling plastic can also save our planet (micro plastic found in the oceans for example).
